The Ambassador attends Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony

The Ambassador of Maldives to Japan H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Uvais attended the 73rd Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony held in Peace Memorial Park in the city of Hiroshima.

Representatives from 85 countries and fifty thousand citizens, including those who lost their family members in the bombing attended the ceremony. Matching the time that the atomic bomb was dropped. The Peace Bell was rung at 8:15 AM, followed by sirens around the city and silence as attendees offered their prayers for the realization of everlasting world peace.
